Provide technical expertise and recommendations to various clinical stakeholders in assessing health IT software projects, transitioning to value-based care and enabling regulatory compliance; real life clinical workflows and Epic implications. Design, build, implement, optimize and test Epic EMR software and its modules such as EpicCare Ambulatory, MyChart and RWB. Business analysis, requirement gathering, document collection and stakeholder coordination. Perform clinical walkthroughs for software implementation phase and assist with technical dress rehearsal for clinical implementation. Coordinate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers to build and optimize patient diagnosis and treatment workflows. Develop programs/solutions/systems to support business needs. Perform reviews and user acceptance testing.
REQUIRES: Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Pharmacy Administration or Pharmaceutical Management + minimum 2 years experience as Clinical Informatics Healthcare Analyst or Developer, Systems or Business Analyst (involving Epic) or related.
